Our Story

Roots of CrossWorlds Connections

In 2014, Stephen and Robin Wright did something unusual at a stage of life when most people think about slowing down: they repurposed their lives for God's Kingdom. Leaving behind careers in the U.S., they moved to Ecuador as the WIT Team — Whatever It Takes. Out of their vision to mentor youth and serve families, CrossWorlds Connections was born.

Today, CrossWorlds is a vibrant foundation offering music, English, sewing, and vocational programs that connect people across cultures and transform lives for eternity. What began with a kids' camp and a single sewing class has grown into a movement of discipleship, community, and hope.

And the story isn't finished. The same call that led the Wrights to Ecuador now extends to baby boomers, empty-nesters, widows, widowers, students, and young adults — anyone willing to invest their life in something greater than themselves. Whether for a week, a summer, or a lifetime, you can be part of a story that is still being written.

A Call to Repurpose Life

CrossWorlds is more than a foundation — it's a movement of people who believe that life is too valuable to waste on self-centered living. Our story began with two people who chose not to retire from life, but to repurpose it for God's Kingdom.
